Heartland Energy USA, LLC was founded in 2004 by Scott & April Sloan of rural Stryker. They were heating multiple buildings on their family farm with natural gas and began investigating ways to trim heating costs. They installed an outdoor wood furnace and soon realized that there were other families that were also tired of the high heating costs and were looking for alternatives. They started sel
ling outdoor wood furnaces that summer and the rest, they say is history. Heartland Energy USA, LLC has experienced growth in the outdoor wood furnace market since they sold their first units in 2004, and are now the factory representatives for HeatMaster outdoor furnaces in five states. In 2012 they started selling Bad Boy Mowers and Green Mountain Pellet Grills and in 2014 added the Intimidator UTV brand. In 2023 they brought in the Bad Boy Tractors. 2024 brought Bad Boy Bandits and QuickCover Buildings. Heartland Energy USA, LLC services and stocks parts for all of the products they sell.
