For our 2nd of 5 projects celebrating our 5-years in business, we bring you the Dixie Park In-Line Booster Pump Station Rehabilitation project.

The original Dixie Park Facility was made up of some old packaged plants. After years of alterations/expansions, it had finally been modified to a booster station pumping wastewater to the Tropical Farms WWTP. With new septic-to-sewer expansion projects in the County, this booster station needed some upgrades.

This project included demolition of 3 steel treatment tanks, changing 1 treatment tank into a surge tank, demolition/replacement of a booster pump station, removal/replacement of an electrical room and miscellaneous building upgrades. The proposed pump station included 2 dry pit and 2 jockey mounted duty Vaughn chopper pumps.

The existing conditions brought some surprises in which Stephen Flannery came to the rescue brining our first self-performing crew.

Martin County Board of County Commissioners and HOLTZ CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC.

August marks Lawrence Lee Construction’s 5 year anniversary! In recognition of the success of the past five years, we would like to highlight some projects!

The Company’s first bonded project was for Brevard County Government at their Mims WTP. This project was made successful by Chinchor Electric, Inc. who had to phase in replacement of five VFDs for the County’s HSP station.

We are happy to be working with Brevard County again starting this Fall at their South Central WWTF. We will be replacing two of their three WAS/RAS pump stations.

We have also enjoyed working again with Clayton McCormack, PE at a project for St Lucie West. We are finishing up two Aqua-Aerobic filters this Fall.
