A very important customer of ours (they are all very important), was recently visited by their local POTW Industrial Pre-Treatment Coordinator who had a listing of new testing parameters that they will now require our client to test for as part of their discharge permit. It seems the State had added the additional parameters as part of a study they performed and are now requiring all customers to include these parameters in their quarterly testing. The additional 10 parameters were a broad range of constituents, and our client was anxious as to our systemβs ability to remove them from the wastewater. We, however, were not concerned at all because we know that our ClearFlow Systems process is a broad range treatment technology that can remove most constituents typically found in industrial waste water.
We initially ran a pre-treat/post-treat study of our own to determine if we needed any additional treatments prior to our ClearFlow system such as pH adjustment, coagulants, precipitation, or oxidation. We found that our current treatment plan for this client was adequate to perform and provide the proper removal of the additional constituents listed.
We performed the required testing for the permit and passed with lots of room to spare. Additional proof that our ClearFlow Systems can handle a wide range of wastewater with various amounts of constituents all in a one-step operation.
