17 Teams from across Virginia competed at the 24th Virginia Dominion Energy Envirothon State Competition on May 19th & 20th. Congratulations to Jamestown High School who won 1st place overall and will be representing Virginia at the NCF-Envirothon competition in July. Louisa County High School placed 2nd overall, Fort Defiance placed 3rd overall. Over a 100 students participated in the State Competition. Thank you to Dominion Energy for all of your support, to all of the Coaches, Soil & Water Conservation Districts, Natural Resources Personnel who served as Station Judges, the volunteers and the Students. All of you helped to make this years state competition a success.
