METCOR 57 is a solvent based corrosion preventative for long-term indoor protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. METCOR 57 is fast drying, water displacing, and non-staining. The deposited dry film “seals off” metal surfaces from moisture and humidity on contact. METCOR 57 is ideally suited to protect corrosive sensitive metals and alloys.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Inside Sales Coordinator is a key part of our success at Metalloid and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Communicating with customers via phone, email, and trade shows to provide product-solution assistance
• Work with and support our VP of Sales to develop new territories
• Assist the Territory Managers with lead quoting, product sourcing, order completion to win new accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage follow up process of new leads from trade shows
• Handle inbound web leads as needed
• Help as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
• Work in SAP system to generate quotes and enter new sales orders
• Re-engage previous customers to facilitate new business
• Educate customers on terminology, features, and benefits of products
• Help manage attendance of special events, conferences, and trade shows
• Coordinate travel arrangements for the sales team as required
• Follow up and direct sales leads to an appropriate member of the sales team
• Work with logistics companies and couriers to ensure timely delivery of product
• Generate sales and expense reports as needed
• Work with sales team to develop training and educational materials
• Other duties as assigned

TRAINING AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

• You will work closely with, and learn from, veteran Metalloid Sales Reps and Chemists
• Weekly in-person sales team meetings

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• HS Diploma and minimum 3+ years inside sales experience or equivalent
• Experience with metalworking fluids, lubricants and chemical applications and maintenance is desired but not required
• Ability to understand and communicate technical information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer skills and proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task numerous activities but remain immediately available for incoming calls
• Highly-effective interpersonal, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to turn customers into friends
• Positive, pro-active attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Propensity to make decisions with good judgment and think strategically to identify opportunities
• Demonstrated history of success performing specific tasks

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL

• The majority of your time will be spent in our offices in Sturgis, but you will also have the flexibility to occasionally work from home if needed
• Periodic travel to attend conferences, trade shows and team building events at company expense will be required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sitting at desk for extended periods of time, walking, standing, talking, listening, using a computer and a phone
• Use arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, and reach for items
• Be able to lift 20 pounds
