Cait McPhee joined the ND Paper team in July of 2019. She works as an accountant at the Rumford mill and works with our area managers to track spending and provide reporting.

Cait was born and raised in Alaska, and she attended the University of Alaska where she obtained her Associates of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Certification of Accounting.

Outside of work, Cait is a classically trained flutist, and she has traveled to different states and countries to play.

ND Paper’s Biron Division creates high quality and sustainable packaging products and it is a 100% recycled operation!

We utilize OCC (Old Corrugated Containers), such as used shipping boxes, cereal boxes, or beverage cartons, to create recycled products. In just one year, we can process over 690 million pounds of OCC!

If you lined up these bales in a line, it would span the state of Wisconsin…and then some!

We support a circular economy through resource conservation. Environmental concern is at the heart of everything that we do.

Charlie Castona joined the ND Team in October 2020 and has since risen to the role of First Shift Corrugator Production Supervisor at our Sturtevant, WI plant. Charlie has dedicated most of his professional career to the corrugate industry.

In his free time, he enjoys playing darts, golfing, and spending time with his family and pets. We are immensely grateful to Charlie for his exceptional work and the positive impact he has had on our team. He is a vital part of our success.

ND Paper’s Biron Division is a 100 recycled fiber operation located in the heart of Central Wisconsin.

With over 690 million pounds of OCC processed each year, these tightly packed bales can fill the ND Packaging box plant over 26 times!

At ND Paper, we’re committed to the well-being of our team. This week, we spotlight the importance of preventing slips, trips, and falls.

Statistics reveal that over 92,000 falls from a lower level and 275,000 falls from the same level were reported in just one year (2021-2022).

Here are some tips to maintain a safer work environment:
- Stay Alert: Keep an eye out for spillages, uneven surfaces, or any potential hazards
- Proper Footwear: Ensure you’re wearing shoes with good grip and support
- Signage: Use clear signs to mark wet floors and other slip and trip hazards
- Training: Regular safety training sessions can help employees recognize and avoid risks

Risk Reduction is a lifelong commitment, and there are unique risks we face in every stage of life.

You can significantly reduce injury risk through different stages of life by following these tips:

- Our first year: Suffocation in the leading cause of preventable death
- Childhood: Drowning and motor vehicle incidents become prevalent dangers
- Adulthood: Drowning, suffocation, falls, car crashes, and poisoning (drug overdose) are concerns
- Throughout life: Car crashes consistently rank as the 1st or 2nd leading cause of preventable death
- Golden Years: The risk of death from falls increases with age

Stay aware of dangers to prevent injuries and help others. Safety is priority #1!
