Happy Source Water Protection Week! Let's take a moment to appreciate the water we rely on daily, recognize its importance, and protect it for future generations. Together, we can safeguard this essential resource!

Before water reaches the treatment plant, the water tower, or your tap, it has to start somewhere.

Source Water Protection Week begins today, September 27th! Follow along this week as we celebrate the lakes, rivers, and groundwater that make safe drinking water possible in Illinois.
