Thrilled to wrap up the week with a huge congratulations to our TEAM in Montana and Wyoming for an incredible milestone: 13 years without a recordable injury!

Since opening as a one-bay operation in 2013, the team has grown into our new TEAM Billings Facility. That kind of growth is worth celebrating, but even more impressive is the safety culture that has remained at the center of it every step of the way.

Thirteen years without a recordable injury takes consistency, accountability and people who look out for one another every day.

Congratulations to everyone who has been part of this achievement. Here’s to 13 years of working safely, growing together and setting the standard for what it means to be a TEAM.

Hot work, high stakes and a 100% seal 💪

TEAM recently completed a 14" TEAM Hi Stop on 265 psi, 500°F superheated steam in West Virginia, helping the customer safely replace a faulty downstream 14" valve with a new valve and spool piece.

From planning and setup to ex*****on in brutal mid-90s heat, the approach stayed focused on what matters most: precision, safety and keeping the work moving without compromise. The crew achieved a 100% seal with TEAM’s Hi Stop plug, giving the customer the isolation they needed to complete the replacement safely and on schedule.

After long days and late nights, TEAM successfully completed an emergency 14" 600 # linestop on a 1200 psi ethane line in the Minden, Louisiana area.
The job included a 14" linestop tap, a 2" equalization tap and, because there was no flow in the line, running a magnet to the bottom of the pipe to retrieve shavings from the 14" tap.

From there, we set a single 14" linestop and achieved a 100% seal, allowing our client to safely work downstream. That made it possible for them to replace a faulty 14" valve that had been in place since the 1950s with a new valve assembly, safely and on schedule.

TEAM was able to respond to the customer’s emergency callout within 24 hours and help keep critical work moving. For emergency or routine hot tap, linestop and welding services, TEAM is ready.

A bigger project does not mean the smartest solution ☝ So, what does finding a safer, simpler and more cost-effective path forward look like in application?

We recently completed a live workshop test on a 27-year-old DN450 Class 600 trunnion ball valve for a valued gas transmission pipeline owner and operator, developing and proving a method to investigate valve seat leakage where conventional options had significant limitations.

The goal was clear:

✔ Prove the intervention could be executed safely
✔ Confirm the integrity of the proposed methodology
✔ Verify the condition of the valve during the process

The result? A successful intervention with zero swarf observed entering the valve cavity during inspection. Workshop testing gave the client confidence to progress to field ex*****on and provided a validated alternative to a significantly more expensive bypass option.

This is what smart pipeline work looks like: integrity, experienced technicians, detailed engineering review, risk assessment, strong client engagement and a willingness to challenge assumptions before stepping into the field.

Most drone programs have one certified pilot. We certify every member of the TEAM.

Our drone inspection crews, including visual observers, hold FAA Part 107 certification. That's not standard practice across the industry.

Why does it matter? Every person on a TEAM drone deployment understands the rules, the risks, and the technology. And as Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) certification advances, we're already positioned to expand the scope of autonomous flight in industrial inspection.

Traditional inspections are limited by time and space. Visuals are processed by a singular inspector, and though their takeaways are recorded, they're confined by human limitations.

Drones, on the other hand, record permanent footage and exact measurements down to the decimal point.

Time-stamped, georeferenced data can be reviewed again and again, shared across engineering, maintenance, and reliability teams, and interrogated long after the inspection is over. When your team (and ours) has unlimited access to granular asset insights, something new becomes clear every time.
