Newer Homes, 10 years or younger: All the dust from construction is in your ducts, all of the drywall, tile, wood and sawdust is circulating through your system and it WILL cause problems with your heating and air system, no matter how often you change your filter. If your house was built anywhere near winter, they had to run your furnace for drywall and tile-grout to set up properly, which means all of that dust has been pulled into your ducts.
