In honor of Earth Week, we’re highlighting what it means to build recycling systems that work here at home.

D6 operates a domestic, vertically integrated platform designed to support true tray-to-tray recycling. We’re working to strengthen supply chain stability, improve traceability, and reduce reliance on overseas market.

From collection to clean wash flake to finished packaging, our approach is centered on keeping materials in circulation and moving them back into usable applications. It’s a model focused on progress—advancing domestic infrastructure, supporting evolving EPR frameworks, and continuing to push toward more sustainable packaging systems for the future.
Be good world. 🌎

In 2025 alone, more than 440 millions US tons of plastic waste were projected globally and this is just the beginning.
By 2060, plastic waste could nearly triple. Half is expected to be landfilled. Less than 20% will be recycled. Packaging remains the largest contributor and the greatest opportunity for impact.

This isn’t just a waste issue but rather a system wide challenge. One that demands accountability, traceability, and responsible end markets.
At D6, we’re advancing domestic recycling and closed loop tray-to-tray solutions that keep food-grade materials in circulation, strengthen U.S. supply chains, and recycle more.

A new year does not change our promise. It strengthens it.
D6 is working towards becoming the world’s first carbon-negative packaging company and each year gets us closer to our goal.
As we step into this year, our commitment remains clear. We will keep building domestic recycling systems that are transparent, traceable, and auditable. Systems that truly work for people, communities, and the businesses striving to meet their sustainability goals with confidence.
Progress is not automatic. It is earned through consistency, accountability, and partnerships built on trust. We are proud to support brands and organizations as sustainability expectations evolve and keeping materials in circulation where they belong.
One year closer. One year stronger.
A mighty thank you to our team, clients, and partners for believing in what we are building together.
Happy New Year from us to you!

The holidays generate about 25% more household waste than the rest of the year - and most of it comes from packaging, bottles, and food containers.

As you clean up after gatherings and gift-giving, remember those materials don’t have to go in the trash. Swing by a Community Recycling Unit (CRU) and keep holiday recyclables moving through the system right here in our communities. ♻️🌲

As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to share a few quick recycling tips that make a big impact. Recycling the right materials keeps valuable resources in circulation and supports cleaner, stronger communities year-round.

Recycle: PET #1 bottles and clamshells, HDPE #2, LDPE #4, PP #5, and aluminum.

If you collect extra recyclables over the holiday, feel free to hold onto them and drop them off at your nearest Community Recycling Unit (CRU) or local program when you’re back in routine. A few extra seconds of sorting helps reduce waste and strengthens a more circular system.

Our team had an amazing time at Mount Vernon Elementary School teaching students about recycling, material types, and how to identify different plastics. It was incredibly rewarding to see the students engage with the lessons and truly understand why responsible recycling matters.

A huge thank-you to Mrs. Eudy for partnering with us to bring awareness to such an important topic. The students even created their own posters to promote the school’s new recycling drive—and we can’t wait to see the tonnage they collect!

Our team had a fantastic experience participating in our second community cleanup event with !

This event was especially meaningful for us, as our wash line operates right here in Longview, Texas. Our D6 team had the opportunity to connect with hundreds of community members to share how we’re advancing responsible recycling as a Self-Attested Responsible End Market (REM) for hard-to-recycle plastics and aluminum.

We’re proud to serve—and be part of—a community that truly values environmental stewardship. Every bag collected, every piece sorted, and every volunteer hour invested brings us one step closer to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

In honor of America Recycles Day, we’re highlighting the meaningful role plastic packaging can play within domestic recycling systems.
As a Responsible End Market (REM) re-collector, D6 works to clean and upcycle post-consumer plastic packaging into similar products through a vertically integrated process grounded in transparency, traceability, auditability, and accountability. By maintaining custody from bale to shelf, we aim to support pathways that enable true tray-to-tray recycling. We appreciate the partners and communities exploring circular solutions and contributing to stronger domestic recycling efforts.

We’re excited to share a closer look at this work in the video provided.
