A quick hand brake tab welded onto the trailing arm of a BMW drift car, to help them get out on track this weekend, and help them get the car sideways. The part came to me with the tab tacked in place, making it an easy job to create a custom fixture to keep that tab aligned peroperly through the welding process.
The suspension arm is cast iron making the welding a little bit more tricky, but that’s exactly why you come to Ford’s Fabrications!
TIG welded with 309 stainless steel, pre-heated, and wrapped up tight in a welding blanket to cool.
