Today we replaced another ‘Backflow Prevention Device’

The old one was on his last legs and leaking like crazy- The customer noticed her bill was $40 higher per month; this was the culprit.

Quick fact about Backflow Prevention Devices:
They prevent irrigation and also pool water-depending on the application- from ‘back flowing’ into your domestic water supply.

If you have a pool and/or irrigation, you NEED one of these bad boys.

Out with the old, in with the new

Replaced a back-flow prevention device as well as the piping for the irrigation system.

From PVC to copper- Copper will not get brittle in the sun and leak like PVC; in addition to that, this copper just looks downright sexy.

I should also mention that the new backflow prevention device has shut off valves built-in on the back side; Therefore, there was no need to install an additional water shut off valve.

We probably went overboard polishing all of our copper afterwards- no regrets!

Spent a few hours this afternoon making some drywall damage disappear. Here are a few pictures displaying the different steps:
-cutout damage
-install wooden backing for strength
-install new drywall
-mesh tape (only recommend for patch-work)
-mud/texture/paint

It’s like the wall was never punched 😀

This client wanted to brighten up their living room.

We ran a dedicated 15-amp circuit from the service panel & installed (9) can lights. We even painted the newly ran conduit from the service panel to match the body of the house.

Today Water Heater Install-

Bradford White water heaters are the best out there; this water heater will be doing what it is meant to for years to come.

We added a shut off valve to both the 'hot' and 'cold' lines for good measure. We take great pride in polishing our copper after soldering to make for a beautiful finished-product.

This Client’s carport ceiling was bulging and in very poor condition.
In the ‘before’ picture below, we jacked up the Ceiling joists and sistered 2x8’s so that the joists sat square.

After the structure was corrected, we installed T1-11 siding and painted the finished product white, for a gorgeous finished product.
