We design and manufacture innovative specialized diagnostic tools for biomeds. With this idea in mind, he developed the SimCube® NIBP simulator.

Pronk Technologies started in 1998 shortly after founder Karl Ruiter asked biomedical engineers at a California Medical Instrumentation Association (CMIA) meeting how a test equipment manufacturer could make their jobs easier. He learned just how much of a need there was for portable, durable, easy-to-use products. The product was very well received by the HTM community. Ruiter’s experience was a

life lesson that the best ideas often come from the people who use a product day in and day out. Pronk Technologies continues to reach out to its customers and strives to meet their evolving needs.

A great time at MD Expo Baltimore! It was wonderful to meet and connect with so many biomedical professionals, clinical engineers, service providers, and fellow members of the HTM community.

In addition to outstanding presentations and exhibitors, the latest MD Expo also featured the 2026 Tech Choice Awards, presented by TechNation. March was a busy month for your friends at Pronk Technologies!

We were proud to present at several wonderful events, including at HTMA Houston and the (first ever) CMIA San Diego Chapter Meeting and Nevada HTA Meeting. Great to connect with so many biomedical professionals, clinical engineers, service providers, and others in the HTM industry.

April’s already shaping up to be a busy month too, with MD Expo Baltimore happening April 7th to 9th at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor.
