Day 28 of the 100-Day Build — Second Floor Rebar Installation

Second floor rebar installation is underway as the structure gets prepared for the concrete deck pour.

Most people don’t realize: the steel inside the concrete is what gives the slab its tensile strength and helps the structure resist cracking and movement over time.

This is where precision matters. Spacing, lap lengths, clear cover, and beam reinforcement all have to match the structural plans exactly.

Real builders know the strength of the building is determined long before the concrete truck arrives.
