Throwing it back this Thursday to celebrate someone who’s been part of the Holland team for more than 3 decades. General Superintendent Rod Stevens is celebrating 32 years with Holland this month!

If you’ve worked on a Holland project, there’s a good chance you know Rod. His leadership, experience, and commitment to every jobsite have made a lasting impact on our team, our projects, and the people around him. We’re grateful for everything he brings to Holland and proud to celebrate this milestone with him!

Yesterday marked the start of Construction Safety Week, and we’re reinforcing our commitment to safety with Holland Safe.

It’s a simple message, but one that carries a lot of responsibility. Holland’s commitment to safety is evident on every jobsite. Holland Safe represents our shared responsibility to look out for one another and speak up. Because nothing on the jobsite is more important than going home safe.

Last week, members of our Holland crew were out & about at two great career fairs! We kicked things off at the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber 8th Grade Career Fair and wrapped up the day at Triad High School. Connecting with students and sharing what we do in construction is one of our favorite things - and it’s even better when the next generation of our own team gets to be part of it!

It’s Throwback Thursday again! With the Gateway Grizzlies season opener right around the corner, we’re taking it back to the opening of their stadium in 2002. Not only is the stadium home to the Grizzlies, it’s also hosted countless community events, concerts, swap meets, and sporting events — from running to wrestling and softball. It’s even home to the viral glazed donut bacon cheeseburger!

Proud to have built a venue that has been serving the community for 24 years.

Our Holland team had a great morning at the Collinsville School District 4th grade career fair! Susan, Riley, and Mustafa enjoyed talking with students, sharing what we do in construction, and sparking curiosity about future career paths. Happy Throwback Thursday! Let's go back to 2007. Do you recognize this place? It’s the O’Fallon Family Sports Park! It may look very different today, but this is where it all began. We’re glad to have helped lay the foundation for what has become one of the premier sports parks in the Metro East.

Holland is proud to be leading construction on the new $116 million expansion at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon. This major investment will expand the emergency department, add inpatient beds, and enhance access to advanced care for the growing Metro East community. Last week, our Holland crew had a great time at the Salute to Business Awards, hosted by the O’Fallon-Shiloh Chamber of Commerce! We were honored to accept the 2026 Business Transformation Award for our work on the O’Fallon Park project.

A big thank you to our incredible partners at FGM Architects, Millenia Professional Services, and O’Fallon Parks and Recreation for helping make this project a success. Even more special, members of our project team were there to celebrate together!

East St. Louis School District 189 is building the future.

We proudly marked the groundbreaking of a $17.2 million Career and Technical Education (CTE) expansion at East St. Louis Senior High School — a transformational investment in student opportunity and workforce development.

Made possible through a $17 million Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity grant secured by Senator Chris Belt, this expansion will add 32,500 square feet of modern, hands-on learning space. Students will have access to cutting-edge programs in:

🎙️ Audio/Visual Production
🚗 Automotive Technology

Earlier this month, students from the Collinsville Area Vocational Center program got a firsthand look at their future building with Assistant PM Justin and Superintendent Nick! They asked great questions, took notes, and even watched a live demo from our brick contractor showcasing how the masonry comes together. It’s awesome to watch this project come to life, and we’re excited for its completion in the next few months!
