An Air Condition Boy
A letter I wrote my Dad a very early age when cursive writing was pretty new new to me. 1970-72 when I was about 8 or 9 years old.
My Rules
I want to be a aircondition boy. I got my rules.
I promise my daddy I'll be a good boy.
I promise my daddy I want be careless.
I promise I'll do good duty.
I promise my daddy I'll be carefull.
All I need is dollar an hour but when I get older I'll charge 75 cents more.
I promise daddy boy scouts honor that I want ask for my money and two months.
I promise daddy I'll wake up early with little help.

If your wondering why the emphasis on being careful and not careless it was about being in an attic and not standing on the sheetrock. This was drilled into my head from a very early age.

Helped a customer troubleshoot a furnace over the phone. The control board lost 24 volt power. Can you tell me why?
I can’t blame someone for DIY projects I would try myself.
Before they lost 24 volt power to board there was a pressure switch fault.
He replaced the pressure switch.
Then he lost power to 24 power board.
He them replaced the board
Several things happened that finally led to the actual part that failed. Tell me what you think.
