ACM Technician

ACM Technicians are responsible for sorting and segregation Nickel Based and Cobalt based super alloys. Techs must also be able to mutilate, upgrade and clean materials so that they can be sent back to aerospace industry for re-melting purposes.

Ability to move customer materials from sorting tables into appropriate drums/boxes
Minimum lifting capabilities of 50 pounds (documented scale weights)
Properly operate XRF analyzers and various hand and power tools for destruction
Ability to clean work area when not working on specific customer material processing or special projects

Melt Room Operator

Mastermelt America
A local materials recycler is seeking a qualified Melt Operator for the purpose of preparing customer materials. This person will be responsible for smelting/melting materials involved in recycling metals.

Responsibilities include:
Receiving and entering customer information on the materials received
Operation of an Induction Melt Furnace
Extracting and preparing samples representative of the melt
Overall light maintenance and cleanliness of the work area
Interaction with several department leads to coordinate work schedules.
Interaction with customer representatives.
Receiving, compiling, calculating, auditing, or verifying information and/or data
Maintain records of samples and manage retained samples.

Requirements:
Industrial experience directly associated with handling & melting molten salt and/or metals.
Direct experience with Electric Induction melting is highly desired.
Availability to work first shift with occasional overtime (required)
Ability to lift 50 lbs. during the daily course of job activities.
Using dollies and specialized handling equipment move drums and pallets.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to prevent injury.
Pass a PFT Test and Drug Screening
Pass a criminal background and credit check.

Laboratory Technician

A local materials recycler is seeking a qualified Laboratory Technician to prepare samples and perform material testing on a variety of materials.

Responsibilities include:
Receiving, compiling, calculating, auditing, or verifying information and/or data
Prepare samples using screening, blending, and splitting techniques
Analyze samples using ICP and small furnaces
Instrument/equipment maintenance
Maintain records of samples and manage retained samples
Create test documents
Interact with multiple department heads
Work with laboratory reagents including strong acids and molten salts
Follow good laboratory work practices

Requirements:
Industrial Laboratory Experience is required to be considered for this position
Availability to work 1st shift with occasional overtime (required)
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Chemistry experience is desirable
HS Diploma or GED
