My BiGBLiSS emanates from a love I have for interior architecture and carpentry, specifically involving the spaces we call Home. I am mostly inspired by how we, as humans, require our own space unique to our own wants and needs. A place where we can “feel at home”. A home is where we relax, spend time with friends, raise families, prepare and eat our meals, sleep, and generally recharge for our ne
xt outing. This space, we call Home, should be designed to efficiently do just that. I have a deeper love and that is of Tiny Homes. Small homes fascinate me. I appreciate how they don’t dominate their environment and I believe small homes harbor a close family setting. With the rising number of humans on Earth and the rising cost of living, Tiny Homes can play an important role of a successful future here on Earth. They are homes that are comfortable, affordable, sustainable and even cleverly mobile. They are distinct and personally complex in design, yet simple and humble, not requiring unneeded material “things”, which in turn, can be a liberating alternative to our consumer-crazed world. Tiny Homes are a designer/builder’s ultimate work of art. Planning a living space in 2000+ square feet is a luxury, but to arrange one’s home in 250 square feet or less, so that it is useful and stylish, that takes true skill. This challenge is what I enjoy and where I thrive.
