A great case showing how black triangles and post-orthodontic instability can be conservatively addressed without extraction. A minimally invasive restorative approach helped restore function, strength, and a more natural-looking smile.
Case information
Erica had orthodontics as a child and again in her 40s after relapse. After her second treatment, black triangles remained, and her lower teeth felt loose — she even feared biting into an apple. Her general dentist recommended extracting her lower incisors, but she wanted to avoid that. Her periodontist offered veneers, bonding, more surgery, or Bioclear. She chose Bioclear, and today her teeth are strong, secure, and attractive. The Bioclear approach comprehensively addressed other problems such as small gouges left in her enamel when the orthodontist drilled off the bracket cement.
