We take projects from concept to completion – including design, permitting, construction and installation. What Marine Floats Corporation Does for the Client. Site Visit – The Marine Floats’ process begins with a visit by one of our representatives
to the proposed location of your project. We take photographs and discuss your vision
and needs in detail. Proposal – We provide a thorough proposal
that includes a scale drawing of
your project. This proposal generally includes costs for construction, delivery and
installation. Contracting – Once you have approved the design and costs
for construction, delivery and installation, we go to the next
phase of planning. During the contracting process we research
the additional costs of permitting and addressing site issues
that might arise. Site Plans – Residential clients must provide a scale drawing of the location of the
dock or pier system for the permit process. Permit Applications – Upon approval of the contract and receipt of your site plan, we
prepare and submit all the applications for city, county, and national approval. Dives – A marine biologist completes a comprehensive evaluation of your proposed
location as required by reviewing regulatory agencies (June to October). Hearings – On behalf of clients, Marine Floats attends public hearings at which
permit applications are reviewed in order to respond to questions and provide
additional information. Approval – Approvals are granted through collaboration between city, state and federal
agencies. Pile Driving and Construction – Once the project is approved, Marine Floats
schedules the required pilings to be installed. According to federal law piling can be
driven only between specific months of the year. Walkthrough – Marine Floats’ walks through the completed project with you, the
client, for your final approval. Enjoy your new floating dock or waterfront solution!
