The McMenamins Elks Lodge Project has been granted official building occupancy!! This morning Andersen Construction received final sign-off from the City of Tacoma for our Building Permit. We couldn’t be more proud of the team, past & present, that had a hand in making this possible. Great job team! Time to celebrate!

The site has been incredibly busy as of late with April 24th fast approaching. But, the Elks Temple is looking amazing both inside and out! The team is hard at work all hours of the day right now getting the building ready for the big unveiling. It’s pretty incredible what the team has pulled off over the last year and a half!

We spent the morning testing the fire pit on Level 1. I’d say we were rather successful! Getting closer and closer to enjoying beers and Cajun tater tots!

We had some fun onsite this weekend installing the balconies for the Level 6 north side hotel rooms. Our supplier, Architectural Elements, did an awesome job with these units. Special thanks to Magnum Crane Service for the lift! Good work team!

The bandsaw is working extra hard this week to get the large timber work done for the Level 4 main bar. It’s going to be pretty awesome!

Pictures don’t do justice to the awesome work going on at ‘The Old Hangout’ bar on Level 1. Bamboo Craftsman Company has really outdone themselves with this space! Good work team!

Some additional shots from around the project this week! The artists are doing their thing in the brewery and around the Tiki Bar, the remaining brewery equipment showed up, and the Kitchen on Level 1 saw its' first equipment delivery! It was a busy week but we already have our eyes set on Monday. Have a good weekend everyone!
