We're proud to be part of bringing Amara's vision for its Tacoma campus to life! 💛

Last week, we joined Amara, Ferguson Architecture and members of the community for a special wall blessing at the future home of Amara's Family Resource Center. Attendees filled the walls with heartfelt messages, words of encouragement, and hopes for the families and children who will one day walk through these doors.

Designed to foster connection, healing, and community, this newly renovated space will provide welcoming areas for families to gather, access resources, and find support when they need it most.

We're honored to help create a space that will make a lasting impact on Tacoma families for years to come!

It’s Career Fair Day at CWU! 🎓

Sr. Project Engineer and CWU alum Brian Page, along with Project Manager Kenzie Lee, are at the Engineering, Technologies, Safety, and Construction Fair today, connecting with students and sharing more about Colvos Construction and our summer internship program.

We look forward to this event every year and the opportunity to meet the next generation of industry professionals. Building strong teams starts from the ground up, and we’re excited to connect with future talent! 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

We had an incredible afternoon filled with great food, drinks, games, and plenty of opportunities to connect with our clients, partners, friends, and community.

Get to know our three interns, all currently studying Construction Management at Central Washington University. We're thrilled to have Andrew (for a second year!), Marco, and Tyler on board this summer. They are each paired up with a Project Engineer and working collaboratively with our project teams, to gain an immersive, real-world construction experience. We're excited to see their growth over the next couple of months on !

Ground has officially been broken at the Muckleshoot Supportive Housing Project!

We're honored to partner with Muckleshoot Housing Authority and Graves + Associates on this meaningful project that will provide 50 units of supportive housing designed to foster stability, connection, and community.

Situated on 4.64 acres, the new 53,266-square-foot facility will feature seven unique unit types, inviting community spaces, a library, an amenity deck, nature trails, and thoughtfully designed outdoor gathering areas. The project also includes a new 1,000-square-foot maintenance building to support the long-term operation of the campus.

We're excited to see this vision take shape over the coming months and look forward to delivering a space that will serve the community for years to come.
