Discover our latest project!

Arris has beautifully restored the Miccosukee Concord School, originally built in the 1940s. We transformed Barnett Fronczak Barlowe & Shuler Architects vision into reality, reviving stunning wood floors and ceilings while integrating modern amenities like central air conditioning.

This revitalized space will serve a variety of purposes for Leon County Government for many more years to come.

This project was made possible by the hard work of our fantastic subcontractors.

Just had a young horse show up at our farm in Bradfordville north of Centerville Conservation Community. Let me know if anyone knows someone missing a horse this morning.

Your wait is almost over! The Lower Bridge Road public boat ramp improvements are complete, just in time for summer and Memorial Day weekend. Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners Administration plans to open the new ramp to the public this week. Lots of hard work from the Arris team and Flat Top Concrete made everything possible. Soft ground conditions required setting the slabs by crane, and tides required some work to be completed in the middle of the night. The new ramp meets FWC specs creating a longer and deeper ramp to make offloading larger boats easier. The end of the new ramp will be several feet deeper at low tide than the previous ramp. It was a pleasure to participate in this project which means so much to the community. A special thanks to TnT Hide-A-Way for all their cooperation while we worked next door and even allowing us to set up a lighting gantry on their property during night work.

Last week started phase one of a two phase restoration of the Wayside Park pavilions at Carrabelle Beach. The seven picnic structures on the east side of the park will be first. During the removal of old roofing material today the date 12-17-70 was found scratched into the top of the concrete. This project will repair concrete damage from decades of salt water and storms. The structures will keep their recognizable shape and color. We hope our work will let these structures stand another 50+ years until the next crew comes along.

Things are still moving along at the Lower Bridge Road boat ramp for the Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners Administration. We know as the days get warmer we are all eager to get in the water. The new concrete was poured today using fiberglass rebar instead of traditional steel. Fiberglass will not rust or expand over time like conventional rebar. Special ground stabilization was needed under the new boat ramp due to the type of soft sediment the old one was built on. Fresh concrete will require at least roughly 10-14 days to cure enough to be lifted by crane into place. Once the concrete slabs are in place, more erosion mitigation will be installed, and the parking lot will be leveled out. We appreciate the community being patient with us as we work to complete this project.
