What You'll Do

Install, service, and repair a variety of commercial doors.

Read technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications to ensure precise installation.

Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or alignment issues on-site.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure installations meet expectations and deadlines.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

What You'll Bring

Proven experience installing or repairing commercial doors, frames, and hardware.

Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and machinery.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Knowledge of ADA compliance and relevant building codes (preferred).

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering quality work.

Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Coordinator and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management, heavy equipment operation, and logistics processes while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Efficiently load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks all while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
Perform inventory control tasks such as stock counting, cycle counts, and updating warehouse management team to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision
Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves and pallets systematically to optimize space utilization.
Assist in shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming/outgoing shipments against documentation
Support warehouse supervisor in implementing warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience

Prior warehouse experience involving inventory management, order picking & packing, or shipping & receiving is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks is Highly preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse operations is desirable.

Congratulations are in order for our longest tenured installation tech. As of June 16th, Jayson Messer has been promoted to Installation Coordinator. (We finally got him to stop for a minute to get a picture)
Jay has been with Moore Doors since 2016 and has become a very valuable member of our team. He loves his job and we love his enthusiasm.
A few of Jay's responsibilities will include bettering communication between our field staff and office staff along with installation quality control, communicating deficiencies and ensuring we have the right personel on each project.
Congratulations Jay. A well deserved opportunity!
