National High Magnetic Field Laboratory

National High Magnetic Field Laboratory The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory is the world's largest & highest-powered magnet lab. energy and life.

The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory is the largest and highest-powered magnet lab in the world. Funded by the National Science Foundation (DMR-1644779) and the state of Florida, each year more than 2,000 scientists come from across the globe to use our facilities at Florida State University, the University of Florida and Los Alamos National Laboratory to probe fundamental questions about materials.

Summer's here-- this will keep the kids busy and entertained!
A fun experiment using items you probably have around the house.
