Blitzed Weather Media and Research Weather is best understood through two distinct mediums: looking into the past at an event or going toward the weather itself looking for answers.

Blitzed Weather Media and Research was created in the fall of 2016 when two Florida State meteorology students Chris Fox and Colby Pope were discussing the many discourses of meteorology and their role on the science as a whole. Both Chris and Colby, concluded that too often the science of meteorology often becomes regarded as purely only for media or research means. In this regard, a disconnect b

ecomes a hindrance to the science of meteorology progressing forward; the media discourse can leave the research portion of the science behind and visa-versa. This fundamental conundrum, motivated Chris and Colby to create Blitzed Weather Media and Research, citing the empirical necessity to bring both aspects of meteorology together for the sake of the moving the science into the future.
