Recently, our team had the opportunity to visit the new Marpan Lift Station project site off Woodville Highway and see the project in action.

This important infrastructure upgrade for the City of Tallahassee will help improve how wastewater is managed in the area by providing the City of Tallahassee a master lift station that is receiving flow from all of the Woodville sewer upgrades. We’re proud to have provided the civil engineering services for a project that supports the future needs of our community’s infrastructure.

Meet the Team | Office Manager

Meet Rachel Kittrell, Office Manager for Urban Catalyst Consultants. Rachel joined the team this past July and helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She brings a thoughtful, organized approach to everything she does. When Rachel isn’t in the office, she enjoys stopping by Lucky Goat for her favorite coffee.

There's more to a project than what you see once construction begins.🐢

At Charlie Ward Champions Ranch, we coordinated with S&S Environmental Consultants to survey the site for the protected Gopher Tortoise as part of the development process. These tortoises can dig burrows 8-12 feet deep and up to 40 feet long, which is why trained specialists are needed to carefully locate and safely remove them. Each tortoise is then relocated to a permitted recipient site where they can continue to thrive amongst other tortoises.

UC² Staff, Family, and Friends had the privilege of participating in Springtime Tallahassee’s 2026 Breakfast on The Moon this morning. This event kick starts the 2026 Springtime Tallahassee Festival and is a wonderful service to the community. Over 2,000 breakfast bags were cooked and assembled, most of which were donated to Leon County School Teachers and Support Staff. We are honored to be apart of such a caring organization.

After eight years of dedication, we are excited to celebrate Joan as she enters retirement. As the first employee to retire from our company, this milestone is especially meaningful to our entire team.

Joan’s commitment, knowledge, and steady presence have played an essential role in our day-to-day operations — quite simply, the company would not run the same without her. While we will miss her tremendously, we are grateful for the lasting impact she has made and wish her nothing but happiness in this next chapter.

Congratulations, Joan, and thank you for everything!
