Meet Daniel Simone, Senior Project Manager for Urban Catalyst Consultants. Whether it’s tackling design challenges, coordinating project details, or helping clients bring their vision to life, Daniel is always ready to dive in and see a project through from start to finish.

One of Daniel’s favorite parts of the job is getting a behind-the-scenes look at the newest developments shaping our community and having the opportunity to help guide responsible growth. He especially enjoys site layout design, where every project presents a unique challenge.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to visit the new Marpan Lift Station project site off Woodville Highway and see the project in action.

This important infrastructure upgrade for the City of Tallahassee will help improve how wastewater is managed in the area by providing the City of Tallahassee a master lift station that is receiving flow from all of the Woodville sewer upgrades. We’re proud to have provided the civil engineering services for a project that supports the future needs of our community’s infrastructure.

She brings a thoughtful, organized approach to everything she does. When Rachel isn’t in the office, she enjoys stopping by Lucky Goat for her favorite coffee.

There's more to a project than what you see once construction begins.🐢

At Charlie Ward Champions Ranch, we coordinated with S&S Environmental Consultants to survey the site for the protected Gopher Tortoise as part of the development process. These tortoises can dig burrows 8-12 feet deep and up to 40 feet long, which is why trained specialists are needed to carefully locate and safely remove them. Each tortoise is then relocated to a permitted recipient site where they can continue to thrive amongst other tortoises.
