Forklift Operator-Tallassee, Alabama

Positions Available: Forklift Operator
Position Location: Tallassee, Alabama
Supervisor: Alabama Plant Manager
Duties include but not limited to:
• Perform all aspects of the job with safety as the top priority.
• Work closely with logistics team shipping and receiving LTL loads and full loads.
• Move production flow to different workstations through the facility.
Minimum Skills Required:
• Ability to attend and acquire AES Forklift certification.
• Ability to read production sheets.
• Must be a self-starter and need minimal guidance on daily tasks.
• Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to bend, twist, lift, climb, stand throughout the duration of the shift.
• Ability to inspect equipment, clean equipment, and perform minor adjustments to equipment when necessary.
Pay Range: $18.50-$21.50/HR.

Established 1988, AES Industries, Inc is seeking a detail oriented, organized, and multitasking candidate with experience in purchasing. This job requires data entry skills, data analysis skills, and material identification skills. The ideal applicant will need strong data entry and data organization ability to best align our purchasing data with business needs. Duties will include data organization, inventory cycle counting, invoice processing, and updating vendor pricing.
Applicant must be able to multitask and effectively communicate with vendors, accounts payable, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate with suppliers and internal plant managers on material deliveries, material delays, material discrepancies, and material damages.
- Assisting purchasing manager with direct and indirect sourcing duties.
- Frequent (minimum weekly) monitoring of bulk stock levels for common consumables.
- Update internal databases to maintain accurate pricing, quantities, ship dates, etc.
Education and Experience:
- College degree with supply chain management preferred
- 2-3 Years experience in purchasing & supply chain management procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MRP systems.
- Material receiving along with supplier payment processing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation: 52,000-60,000.00 annually

Duties & Responsibilities

The Data entry Clerk is an administrative position responsible for day-to-day processing of our customers’ data. The qualified candidate will need to assist management with data entry of sales order settlement amounts, purchase orders quantities, etc. This position interacts with all levels of management and operations. More specifically, main duties include:
• Data entry of production numbers from operations
• Review sales order settlement amounts for changes
• Review purchase order quantities received vs scheduled
• Communication through phone and email with customers and management

Required Skills and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years clerical experience in an office environment
• High attention to detail and proficiency in data entry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Work collaboratively with other team members and maintain positive attitude
• Detail oriented and organizational skills is a must
