JOB OPENING FOR PUNCH OUT TECHNICIAN(S)
Looking for experienced punch out technician for a new construction development with a strong work ethic, professional appearance and good overall knowledge of all trades.
Responsibilities:
- Perform walk-throughs of pre-title residential houses, generate lists of completion items and quality control issues and execute a plan to complete work.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair routine maintenance issues.
- Skills should include drywall repairs, painting, caulking, rough and finish carpentry, cabinetry adjustment and repair, flooring, light plumbing, light electrical, appliance installations, etc.
- Ensures quality finish of finished product and understands the requirements of working in completed homes.
- Should be able to multitask and understands the requirements of working in a production construction environment.
- Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Any other related duties assigned by site management.
- Required tools include but are not limited to, speed square, hammer, circular saw, portable chop / miter saw, air compressor and finish nail guns, pry bars, drywall tools, level, tape measure, gloves, eye protection, wood chisels, cordless drill, and other necessary hand tools and belts.
- New construction sites are located throughout the Tampa area including but not limited to: Trinity, Land O'Lakes, Holiday, Parrish, Riverview, Brandon
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of one (1) year prior experience or related experience.
- Must have reliable transportation as necessary to safely and effectively carry out the responsibilities listed above.
- Must have reliable tools as necessary to safely and effectively carry out the responsibilities listed above.
- Knowledge and ability to operate power tools
- Knowledge and skilled in small repairs and hand tool use.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
