Commercial construction is a lot more than swinging hammers and putting up walls.

The projects that run smoothly usually come down to a few key components:

• Coordination between trades so one delay doesn’t impact the entire schedule • Planning and sequencing because timing matters just as much as ex*****on • Communication with clients and vendors to keep expectations clear • Budget management and problem solving when inevitable surprises pop up • Safety and code compliance because details matter • Flexibility… especially in occupied spaces where operations still need to continue during renovations

On projects like Clearwater Ice Arena, we’re not just renovating spaces. We’re coordinating how people move through them, how they function day to day, and making improvements without losing sight of the bigger picture.

The finished product gets the attention, but the behind-the-scenes coordination is what makes it possible.

That’s commercial contracting. 👏

This isn’t your typical demo project.

We’ll be surgically removing the existing storefront entry from the current pro shop location and relocating it into the future skate rental area as part of the renovation at Clearwater Ice Arena. The goal isn’t to tear everything out and start over… it’s to carefully preserve, relocate, and reinstall key components to improve the flow and function of the space.

Projects like this take a lot of coordination because precision matters. Every measurement, sequence, and detail has to line up for the transition to work seamlessly.

Right now, we’re standing in the current pro shop. A few weeks from now, this space will serve an entirely different purpose.

Excited to bring you along for the transformation because these are the kinds of projects that are fun to watch come to life. ⛸️👀

Most people walk into a pro shop and never think twice about how the space functions.

We do. 👀

Today we’re inside the current pro shop at Clearwater Ice Arena, which soon won’t be the pro shop anymore. This storefront will be relocated into the existing skate rental area as part of a larger renovation designed to improve flow and create a better experience throughout the arena.

The current skate rental will become the new pro shop, and this space will transition into rentals.

A project like this takes a lot of coordination because we’re not just renovating a room… we’re reworking how the entire space operates.

Excited to bring you along as this transformation unfolds. The before photos never do justice to the final result.

Stay tuned. ⛸️

If you caught our announcement last week about our newest project at Clearwater Ice Arena, here’s a little behind the scenes…

We’re currently standing in the existing skate rental area. Soon, this wall will come down and the storefront from the current pro shop will be carefully relocated into this space as part of the renovation process.

Sounds simple… but projects like this require a lot of coordination to keep functionality top of mind while completely reworking how a space operates.

The goal? A new layout that improves flow for visitors and creates a better experience overall.

Early stages are never the glamorous part, but seeing the transformation from start to finish is always worth it.

Stay tuned. We have a feeling this project is going to be a fun one to watch unfold. ⛸️👀

If you’ve been paying attention, earlier this week we announced our latest project at Clearwater Ice Arena. ⛸️

Right now, we’re standing in the current skate rental area, but not for long…

We’ll be cutting down this wall and relocating the existing storefront from the pro shop into this space as part of a larger renovation to improve functionality and flow throughout the arena. The current pro shop will move into the skate rental area, creating an entirely new layout.

Projects like this take a lot more than demolition and construction. There’s planning, coordination, and making sure operations can continue while improvements happen behind the scenes.

Excited to bring this vision to life and show you the transformation step by step.

Stay tuned… this space is going to look very different soon. 👀

In construction, what you *don’t* see matters just as much as what you do.

Behind every finished space is a foundation built on safety, precision, and staying current with ever-changing building codes. Especially as a general contractor, being up to date is not optional. It’s what protects the integrity of the project, the people inside it, and the investment behind it.

At Tribeca Contracting, we believe great construction starts long before the final finishes go in. It starts with knowledge, accountability, and a commitment to doing things the right way every step of the process.

Because high-end projects demand more than just good design. They demand a team that understands the standards behind the scenes that make exceptional work possible. 🔨✨

We’re excited to officially announce our partnership with Clearwater Ice Arena and be a part of the next phase of improvements to this community staple. ⛸️

This project will include relocating the skate rental area into the current pro shop space, while transforming the existing rental area into the arena’s new pro shop. A lot of coordination goes into reworking operational spaces like this to improve flow, functionality, and overall experience for visitors.

Projects like these are always rewarding because they impact how a space works for years to come, not just how it looks.

Excited to watch this come together and grateful for the opportunity to be involved.

Stay tuned… this one is going to be fun to follow. 👀

Did you know nearly 12% of home fires start in the closet? That’s exactly why building to code matters, even when homeowners wish they could add all the extra design details.

One question we get often: “Can we add a chandelier or skylight in the closet?”

Usually, the answer comes down to safety, ventilation, heat sources, clearance requirements, and fire code. Closets store fabrics, cardboard, shoes, and other highly combustible materials. Improper lighting or unapproved penetrations can increase risk over time.

Codes aren’t there to make projects harder. They’re there because someone, somewhere, learned the lesson the hard way.

As contractors, part of our job is balancing beautiful design with safe ex*****on. Sometimes the best decision on a project is the one you’ll never notice because it’s behind the walls, above the ceiling, or built strictly to code.

Luxury should still be safe.

Great projects are never built by one person.

Behind every luxury home renovation and every high-end commercial space is a team moving with the same vision. Different skill sets. Different responsibilities. One standard.

At Tribeca Contracting, teamwork means knowing the small details matter just as much as the big picture. It means trusting the people beside you to bring precision, communication, and craftsmanship into every phase of the project. Because when everyone is aligned, the final result feels effortless.

The best spaces are built long before the final reveal. They’re built through collaboration, accountability, and a team that refuses to cut corners. 🔨✨

When people think about design, they usually think finishes… flooring, cabinetry, lighting, paint colors.

What often gets overlooked? Audio and sound system integration.

Planning for speakers, wiring, media systems, and smart home technology early in the design process can make a huge difference in both functionality and aesthetics. No exposed cords. No last-minute compromises. No wondering later why the sound quality doesn’t match the space.

The best spaces aren’t just beautiful. They’re designed to be experienced.

Because whether it’s movie nights, entertaining guests, or seamless music throughout your home, thoughtful planning behind the walls matters just as much as what you see in front of them.
