When voids and depressions began forming around a New Port Richey home and its retaining wall, Helicon delivered a targeted soil stabilization solution designed to protect both structures at the same time.

Using 38 injection points and approximately 940 pounds of two-part structural polyurethane, our team filled voids, densified loose soils, and reinforced the support beneath the foundation and retaining wall. A homeowner in Hudson was dealing with significant soil washout behind her seawall, including a large void beneath the deck. The adjacent concrete slab was also cracking and settling, creating uneven areas and concerns around the davit supports.

Our crews used one-part permeation grout to fill the voids and strengthen the soil behind the seawall, helping reduce future washout. We then used two-part structural polyurethane injections beneath the concrete slab to restore support, stabilize the affected areas, and help prevent further settlement and cracking.

When a long-standing sinkhole threatened the stability of a Kissimmee home, Helicon delivered a combined underpinning and pressure-grouting solution designed to address the problem from the foundation down.

Our team installed 32 steel push piers to depths ranging from 28 to 114 feet, transferring the home’s load to competent bearing strata below the sinkhole-affected soils. We then injected approximately 30 cubic yards of grout to fill voids, densify loose zones, and improve the surrounding soil mass.
