It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our colleague and friend, Vicken Serpekian.
Vicken was one of those people you got to know quickly. His smile could light up a room, and he had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and as though he had known them for years.
Vicken was an Associate Vice President and partner at ELEMENT, a shareholder in 4CE, and a talented engineer who cared deeply about his work and the people around him. But titles only tell a small part of who he was.
He was a friend, a mentor, and someone who was always willing to stop what he was doing to help another person. He took a genuine interest in helping people grow, whether that meant answering a question, sharing what he had learned, offering encouragement, or simply taking the time to listen. His mentorship shaped careers, built confidence, and made a lasting difference for so many people across our team. He did it all with patience, humor, kindness, and a sincere desire to see others succeed.
Vicken left a lasting mark on ELEMENT, not only through the work he helped shape, but through the people he mentored, supported, and befriended along the way.
We will miss his leadership, his laughter, his smile, and most of all, his friendship.
Our hearts are with Vicken’s family, friends, colleagues, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
