To burn anything. Including fuels like propane, CNG and kerosene, you need oxygen. Industrial ovens, furnaces and boilers are no different. They require steady, reliable airflow to control their flame characteristics, to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire heating system. This is often achieved by using a combustion air blower.
For successful combustion, a fuel source, oxygen and an ignition source such as a spark are required. If any these three elements is unstable, the combustion process becomes inefficient and often will fail. A combustion air blower is a key component of your system to achieve peak efficiency and consistent product.
Many combustion air blowers are available as add-ons, or you may find the Selas PC Burner which is a nozzle mixing gas burner that includes a combustion air blower and wonder if it would be a good fit for your project. Not sure? Check out the Thermal Equipment System website for more information.
