Done streaming for the night. Recap of progress; made the base form for the shoulder pad, then started on a texture to use for the auto-sculpting. I'll be streaming more throughout the week. I plan on completing it live.

Will hopefully start streaming in an hour or two, though due to circumstances it may be pushed to tomorrow afternoon.

Now that all the chestplates are printed, time to start the long process of sanding. Thankfully I have a pneumatic grinder and a compressor to do the lions share of the work.

Still using duct tape as a temporary solution just to see how all the parts fit. 2 more plates to go, the smaller back plates, and its fully printed!

Then I'll get to the /real/ assembly process, with plastic welding some bits, sanding the surface, reinforcing it in some areas (its actually developed a crack), then mounting the permanent attachment solutions.

On a dress form instead of me, easier to get a decent shot.
