The Refuge is the latest Earthship model. The design emphasizes affordability and accessibility while maintaining all of the principles of Earthships at their best. Excited to be working on these. I have plans to build one for myself like the floorplan in the second slide in the hopefully-not-too-distant future, although it will have an open east end with plans to expand later on.

A nice Sunday drive with .deli to grab lunch in Tres Piedras. Then dropped by at Ben's build again to help throw up a few more rafters. Then cruise home past the pyramid and castle at sundown. I like this town.

Now would be a good time for Nashville to consider rebuilding with a more resilient building technology. Simple Survival Earthships with vaulted cement roof structures are extremely affordable and incredibly wind-resistant. I know how to build 'em. Anyone have any ideas about how to get this happening in the Nashville area? We need someone who knows how to talk to the suits. I know there is money out there; let's make it count.
