Wind Farms Excavation & Clearing has stripped hundreds of yards of topsoil and refilled with 1000 tons yards or compacted fill and 1000 tons of stone!

Site work continues this week with construction of 16,000 square feet of buildings set to start next week!

Wind Farms Excavation & Clearing is busy on the site work for one of the largest square footage jobs we have ever done! It is also one of our very first COMMERCIAL jobs! 🙌

This build is about a week away from starting and consists of more than 16,000 square feet!

⚾️ Amish Culture ⚾️
And we do not mean their culture, we mean CULTURING the Amish about ours! 😬

Last year we taught an Amish crew what mini golf was and had them building putt-putt holes for Wind Vineyards . Just last week, we built BATTING CAGES for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy!

This was a joint effort between our sister businesses Wind Vineyards at Smith Mountain Lake who sponsored the purchase of materials, Wind Farms Excavation & Clearing who provided the dirt, machinery, and did all site work, and Amish Barns of Virginia/Four Winds Construction who constructed the frames! We are confident a lot of kids will benefit from our hard work and donations—there is nothing that rivals the feeling of giving!

Not sure we will be starting a wing of the business building batting cages, but there is not much we cannot do! 😜

🔥Post Frame Foundation🔥
Often our post frame customers elect to avoid putting posts into the ground and we make their foundation with “wet set brackets.”

With this method, a cylinder of concrete is poured as a footing into which a bracket is set before bolting in a post. This is a durable and stable way to begin post frame construction!
