🚨 PENNSYLVANIA IS UNDER A STATEWIDE DISASTER EMERGENCY 🚨

Governor Josh Shapiro has declared a Proclamation of Disaster Emergency ahead of a major winter storm expected to bring heavy snow and dangerously cold temperatures across all of Pennsylvania this weekend.

✅ What this DOES mean:

• The Governor activated emergency powers to prepare
• PennDOT can pre-treat roads, move salt, plows, and crews faster
• Emergency responders can react more quickly
• The state can unlock funding and resources sooner
• This applies to ALL of Pennsylvania

“Winter weather might get rough, so the state is getting ahead of it.”

If conditions worsen, travel restrictions may come later, but this announcement is just preparation.

Bottom line:

• Charge your phone
• Avoid icy roads if possible
• Stay warm
• Don’t be reckless

Tuesday August 26th, 2025 will mark three months since we tragically lost one of our founders in a motorcycle accident. William “Connor” Hartman was an exceptionally caring, hard working and dedicated man. He spent his time with friends, family and above else, trying to build a business that he started with his brother, Blake Veri. The term “V&H” comes from both of our founders last names, Veri and Hartman. Connor had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, enjoying city lights with his friends, working on cars and riding his Harley Davidson. Connor spent most afternoons sitting outside by a fire with his brother Blake trying to think and figure out new ways to expand and revolutionize their business. The world and the business has not and will never be the same without him. He made an impact on all of us that will last a lifetime. No matter how many months have passed, we will always honor and remember him, and we will strive to build and grow the business that he dreamt of and tried building while he was here by our side.
Rest in peace William “Connor” Hartman. Until we meet again❤️🕊️

This past weekend V&H Disposal and Excavation was contracted to remove a concrete and block porch from a house in The City of New Kensington. We removed and disposed of the old concrete and block to make way for the home owner to build their new wooden porch. We are very happy to have been able to help!

It has been a very busy couple of weeks for V&H Disposal and Excavation. We have started a full property restoration of a residential property in Oakmont Borough.
Phase one began the clearing of the property as it was fully overgrown.
Phase two being the complete interior demolition of the property, opening it up for contractors to bring the “guts” of the house up to code and completely remodeled and modernized.
Phase three will conclude the exterior restoration including land grading, planting new seed and installing driveway and parking pads.

V&H Disposal and Excavation is very happy to be working very closely and efficiently with Bradley Homes and Remodeling to bring this long standing vacant home back to its former glory!

It is a sad day for friends, family and V&H Dispoal. On Monday, May 26th, one of our founders tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on route 56 in Lower Burrell.

William (Connor) Hartman was an amazing, dedicated and hard working young man. He was a son, a brother and a great friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. We will continue to work hard and build this company up because it is what he would have wanted.

We will miss you Connor. May you rest in peace🕊️❤️
