Carolina Recycling Company Carolina Recycling Company is a family owned and operated recycling business located in Greenville, SC. In 2008, Caleb started Trail or Trash Recycling.

Our Mission: To assist companies in implementing and maintaining cost-effective recycling programs while offering prompt customer service, innovative solutions, and always keeping core Christian and family values in our everyday lives. After 2 ½ years, Natalie, Caleb’s wife, decided to create a company that focuses on full-service sustainability for the manufacturing and distribution industry. So,

in February of 2011, a new partnership between Natalie and Caleb was created, and Carolina Recycling Company was born, focusing on bringing sustainability solutions and recycling services for all types of businesses. We aid all types of businesses in their efforts for corporate sustainability and in reaching their green initiatives. Along with providing custom recycling programs for all sizes and types of business, we also partner with many companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries including plastic, textile, packaging, pharmaceutical, automotive, etc. for the purchasing and providing of large quantity scrap materials. CRC provides sustainable solutions by saving you money on your waste disposal and, in most cases, by replenishing material funds by purchasing your recyclable scrap and waste materials. What makes CRC unique is the aspect of our small business structure coupled with our strong connections both domestic and international, allowing us to be very competitive in our offerings and in-turn providing profitable outcomes for our clients and vendors. CRC’s Goals:
• Reducing and eliminating negative environmental impacts, while aiding the manufacturing industry to increase revenue-generating opportunities, decrease costs, improve efficiency and accomplish sustainable operations.
• Creating partnerships for the greater good of both the bottom line and environmental conservation.
• Providing affordable in-office recycling programs and pick-up services. CRC’s Services:
• We buy and sell large quantity scrap polymers.
• We buy and sell large quantity scrap paper/cardboard.
• We provide corporate office building recycling programs and pick-up services.
• We offer free consultation to determine your company’s needs and recycling opportunities.

Job Duties Include:

+Identifying and sorting scrap plastic for baling and grinding

+ Operating hydraulic baler, shredder, and granulators

+Keeping a log of all daily duties and goals

+Operating sit down forklift periodically throughout the day

+Keeping areas clean and organized

+Following instructions and meet goals provided by the Warehouse Manager

Requirements:

Forklift experience
Reliable transportation (must be at work on time, every day).
Ability to lift 40+ lbs throughout the day. This position could require some heavy lifting.
Willingness to work in hot/noisy conditions.
Commitment to safety.
Some mechanical aptitude
Team-oriented attitude (willingness to be assigned varying tasks, eager to help teammates, etc.)
Individuals with careful attention to detail and strong organizational skills will excel in this position. Manufacturing/Production experience preferred but not necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour DOE

Job Responsibilities:
Maintains systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. The candidate will have experience not limited to welding, electrical, industrial maintenance, and overall skills associated with industrial maintenance.

Maintenance Manager Job Duties:
• Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
• Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with management; identifying problems and requirements.
