Three new/new-ish things at the house -

1) New patio and awning! HUGE shout out to RLR Concrete Construction for pouring and constructing this patio and awning. This will allow us to host gatherings and create an outdoor space our residents and friends can enjoy it throughout most of the year. It will also be used to create an outdoor space for our Friendship House Foundations program (see below!).

2) New BUS 🚌! We have been rolling out a life skills and job skills group called, Friendship House Foundations, that meets on Thursdays and Fridays. This allows us to get around town and experience new things together! It has been such a blessing!

3) New puppy! Oliver “Ollie” Finn joined the crew last Saturday. He’s a German Shorthair Pointer. You may have to play a little “I spy” to see him in the dark. Cooper is also out there exploring.

The backyard transformation and bus was a part of a generous grant from with Community to support our friends as they strive towards independence.

The puppy was just a cute bonus!
