Thank you to 25News WEEK for highlighting the newly energized Ameren Illinois Peoria Solar Energy Center!

The 37-acre facility features nearly 5,000 solar panels generating 2.5 MW of power, with ELM MicroGrid's battery energy storage technology playing an important role in supporting the site's energy infrastructure.

We're proud to be part of this project alongside Ameren Illinois, Azimuth Energy, and Zeller Electric, bringing advanced energy technology to a community that holds a special place in ELM's history.

Ameren Illinois launched its 2.5-megawatt Peoria Solar Energy Center, a $20 million investment featuring solar panels and battery storage designed to power approximately 400 homes.

This morning we brought our ELM MicroGrid team together for an All Hands Meeting, with our Texas-based employees gathering in person and team members from across the country joining remotely!

As ELM MicroGrid continues to grow, it's important to take time to connect, share updates, and recognize the people behind our success.

Our team recently completed the commissioning of an ELM MicroGrid system at Matchbook Learning in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Commissioning is a critical step in bringing a microgrid online. It's where all the pieces come together—integrating the microgrid with the site's electrical infrastructure, verifying communication between components, and testing the system to ensure everything operates safely and as designed.

Great work by our team on another successful commissioning project!

There's nothing like seeing ELM MicroGrid technology up close!

We recently welcomed team members from Southern View Energy and SiteLogiq to our manufacturing facility in The Colony, Texas, for hands-on training and a closer look at our microgrid technology.

Training opportunities like these help strengthen relationships, expand product knowledge, and equip our partners with the tools and understanding they need to bring reliable, resilient energy solutions to their customers.

Another ELM MicroGrid system is on the move! ⚡🔋

This shipment is heading to Okanogan County Electrical Co-operative in Winthrop, Washington, marking another project where ELM MicroGrid is proud to partner with Sulis Energy and MZ Solar Consulting.

We appreciate the continued collaboration with the Sulis Energy team and look forward to seeing this project take the next steps toward strengthening energy resilience in the community.

This afternoon Jason Petermeier, CTO/COO of ELM Microgrid, helped kick off the UL 3141 and microgrid energy storage system safety session at Mayfield Renewables Education Summit in Chicago.

UL 3141 is an important — and complex — certification standard for microgrid energy storage systems, addressing the safety and performance of systems designed to operate as part of a microgrid.

At ELM MicroGrid, we’re proud that our systems have achieved UL 3141 certification, reflecting the work our engineering team has put into safety, controls, system integration, and compliance.

We appreciate Mayfield Renewables for including UL 3141 as part of this year’s Education Summit and creating an opportunity for the industry to better understand what the certification means and why it matters as microgrid and energy storage deployments continue to grow.

Earlier today, Aron Bowman, President of ELM MicroGrid, and Jason Petermeier , COO & CTO, joined Mayfield Renewables’ Jacob Betcher and Jon La Follett at the Mayfield Renewables Education Summit in Chicago for “Bridging the DER Gap: Introducing the Mayfield Standard for Complex C&I Projects.”

The session explored how better alignment among project stakeholders can help address blind spots and support long-term performance for complex commercial and industrial energy projects.
