If you’re a current client, you may have noticed a new face on our job sites lately… that’s right, it’s Emilee!

She’s incredibly smart, hardworking, and—most importantly—our oldest daughter.

This summer, she’s taking on a few different jobs, including serving as our summer intern, and we couldn’t be more proud. She’s eager to learn more about the business, see what goes on behind the scenes, and gain real-world experience that she can carry into her future career.

You’ll see her helping with a variety of tasks, including client check-ins, project support, job site cleanup, photos, videos, and much more.

If you see her around, please help us give her a warm welcome!

A little about Emilee:
• She’ll be attending Texas A&M this fall, majoring in Journalism and Communications.
• She previously ran collegiately at DBU and is entering her second year of college.
• She loves running, Pilates, traveling, and loves to check out country dancing spots
• She’s our cute gluten-free girl, and we’re excited to have her learning and growing alongside us this summer.

A bathroom renovation looks simple… until you realize how many decisions are involved.

Most bathrooms require 40–75+ decisions—and that’s before demo even starts. Here are a few of the big ones that shape the entire project:

1) Layout + function
Keep plumbing where it is—or move it? This choice drives cost, timeline, and how the bathroom works every day.

2) Shower vs. tub
Walk-in shower, tub, or both? Build around your routine now—and what you’ll want long-term.

3) Finishes + fixtures
Tile, grout, counters, fixtures—what’s worth upgrading? Choose materials that look great and hold up to water, humidity, and daily use.

4) Storage + lighting
Smart storage + great lighting is what makes a bathroom feel custom (and prevents regrets).

When it comes to a closet renovation, organization + function aren’t “extras” — they’re the whole point.

For every room we renovate, we work side-by-side with our trusted subcontractor partners to nail down the details so the final layout is beautiful & effortless to use every day.

In this project, there was a lot of discussion around what our client actually needed and what her vision was for the space. Before, the closet felt dark, forced, and outdated—cabinetry and flooring that simply didn’t make sense for how she gets ready.

Her goals were clear:
A space where she could get ready easily
Dedicated spots to showcase décor + items she doesn’t use as often
Hidden storage for jewelry and other delicates

And this finished space delivered all of that (and then some).

A functional closet should make your mornings smoother, keep your wardrobe protected, and give everything a “home” so clutter doesn’t creep back in. That’s what we design for—real life, not just a pretty photo.

The Cool Breeze renovation was a true “take it all the way” project—north of $1M invested to transform this home into something completely custom.

From the big-picture layout decisions to the smallest finish details, every inch was designed to feel intentional, elevated, and built to last. This is what luxury renovation looks like when the goal isn’t just “new”… it’s timeless, functional, and one-of-a-kind.
