Spartan Energy Partners was awarded on November 8, 2015 a 200 GPM Amine Plant that was completed and installed on location February 2016 in Central Asia. The site includes all components necessary to treat gas containing CO2. Spartan provided a customized layout of our modular amine facility, ancillary equipment and services including start up and commissioning.

The Spartan/UCC Dry Sorbent Injection System works onsite, with a Spartan Amine Treatment Plant, to dispose of H2S contained in sour gas from the wellhead. During the Amine treatment process, treated sweet gas is sent to the customer, while acid gas, containing H2S stripped from the sour gas, is sent to the Dry Sorbent Injection System, abbreviated DSI. Spartan installed a modular 100 GPM Amine Facility in eight to twelve weeks. The site included all components necessary to treat high BTU gas found in emerging shale plays. This facility included genset to power the plant. Spartan also operates the facility providing run time guarantees to the end user.
