WANTED: Commercial Diver/Tender
Commercial Dive Solutions is the area’s Diving Leader in safety, quality, and innovation in the Upstate New York regional area, and is now expanding into Florida. We perform specialized underwater inspections, restoration, and construction services, including underwater concrete formwork. We have an impeccable safety record and are very respected in our field. Our teams have successfully completed projects for Federal, State, and local agencies, as well as leading hydropower companies across the Northeast. Completed projects in Vermont, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Minnesota demonstrate that we are growing! We are well-known for exceeding our clients’ expectations, in quality, service, and dependability. We are looking to hire full-time divers with a desire to learn and an open mind.

Ability and willingness to commute/relocate seasonally, if applicable. Primary locations of positions available include New York, Florida, and working from both locations, seasonally.
Required Skills/Certifications:
• Dive Diploma from an ADCI Accredited Commercial Diving Educational Institution (Required).
• Valid Driver's License (Required).
• Current Dive Physical (Required).
• Current ADCI Certification (Required).
• First Aid, CPR, & AED trained (Required, will offer training if necessary).
• NHI Underwater Bridge Inspection Course (a Plus).
Primary Job Duties include:
• Inland Diving from different platforms, ie: Shore, boat, trailer. Dives range from 10’ (ten feet) to 40’ (forty feet) in depth.
• Good, clear, concise communication skills.
• Maintaining the following paperwork in a detailed, legible manner:
Day Log
Dive Log
Additional paperwork if/as required
• Oversee general equipment maintenance (ie: oiling, lubricating, cleaning, etc).
• Good housekeeping skills
• Set-up and tear-down of Dive Spread.
• Responsibility for the safety of the dive team while serving as Tender.
• Knowledge and use of basic hand tools.
• Other duties as needed.
Job Type:
• Full-time.
• Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hour-commensurate with experience.
• Paid time-off accrued.
• Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, (actual shift times may vary).
