I just had one of those moments that reminds me why I care so much about EVs and EV infrastructure.

I got a call from a driver in a Nissan Ariya who was down to just 14 miles of range near I-95 Exit 118. Being new to EVs, she was starting to feel real range anxiety and our charger was the only option closeby.

Over the phone, I was able to guide her to our charger, walk her through downloading the Autel app, and help her get connected and charging. Dominion Raceway wasn’t technically open (after hours), but I made a quick call and the manager stayed a little late so she could get enough charge to keep going.

She successfully charged enough to get down the road and I couldn't be happier.

I’m thrilled to announce that our EV fast charger at Dominion Raceway is officially open!

Conveniently located right off I-95 at Exit 118, this is not only the first DC fast charger at Dominion Raceway, but also the first at this exit — making it a perfect new stop for EV drivers traveling through central Virginia.

Whether you’re at the track for an event or just passing by on I-95, you’re welcome to stop in, plug in, and recharge!
