Slowed down a little this winter due to the cold, snow, ice and frost. But we tried to get a fair amount done when the weather would allow!

Cleared, stumped, stripped loam and installed the driveway base gravel for a house in Thornton. Then rented a larger machine with a hammer to break up a couple massive rocks in the way of the foundation. Once broke up they were hauled off site allowing to prep for the house and garage foundations. Then Installed a 4” perimeter drain with stone/fabric. Backfilled the outside with clean sand and the floors with compacted 3/4” stone. Leaving the lot ready for the builders.

In between work on the house lot I helped out a local well fracking company. We Excavated around an existing well casing to expose the overflow line. Once removed he was able to fit his equipment down the well and complete his tasks. Afterwards we reinstalled the overflow line and backfilled around the well.

Also ran across town with the skid steer to backfill a slab with clean sand. We prepped for the slab last fall, but after some delays it was not poured until early winter.

Moved the SK170 up Ellsworth hill to demo an old house. After packing dumpsters it was left with an empty foundation and some nice granite blocks set aside. Will be going back in the spring to continue on the site work and future projects.

Afterwards, moved the skid steer back to a houselot to plow out space for the builder to fit all of his materials being delivered. As well as get his lull around the house.

Recently moved the SK75 to a job where we installed 8 deck piers for a local builder. As well as excavated and backfilled the waterline. Shaping everything up around the building.

In between all of this we managed to get everything back to the yard for winter services. All of the equipment, trucks and trailers are ready to tackle another season!

Give me a call with your site work needs! Also feel free to contact me with any trucking or material needs as well!!!

From one project to the next we’ve been all over the place!

Installed a septic, ready for inspection on one houselot in Thornton.

Backfilled both additions in Plymouth with clean sand, 3/4” stone in the floors and a perimeter drain on the larger one. Little walkout rock walls installed as well. Ready for the builders.

Prepped for an Alaskan slab for a future shop in Thornton. Stumped, stripped, built up with 1.5” cbr rolled in lifts. Installed a floor drain and laid 3/4” stone under slab. Backfilled with clean sand. As well as installed a French drain around the building, and installed deck piers for a deck on the existing home.

Installed a nice camper pad in Campton using 3/4” stone. Graded and rolled making for a nice clean look.

Went back to a previously completed houselot in Thornton. Did some minor regrading behind the garage. Spread more loam for future lawn expansion. As well as brush hogged the entire property.

Regraded a pretty rough driveway in Thornton. No material was imported so we made the best of what was there. Rolled out and looking much better.

Give me a call with your site work needs! No projects too big or small.

We’re all over the place lately ! From one project to the next all the machines are currently working.

Moved the SK170 to Plymouth to get started on a new project involving two additions and a new garage across the street. Installing erosion control, cutting trees, removing stumps, stripping loam, hammering a large rock, removing a precast block wall, removing a deck pier, fighting some ground water and blasted ledge, all three holes are ready for concrete. As well as the driveway expanded, graded and erosion stone ditch laid to control water run off.

The SK150 finished up one lot for now, after wrapping up excavating and backfilling conduit. Then moved across town to another lot to excavate and back fill the waterline with clean sand, spread raw loam in the back yard and handle some extra rocks laying around on site. With some help from the skid steer, 3/4” stone was installed as a drip edge around the house, a propane tank pad as well as under the decks. This lot is finally starting to come together.

We also regraded a campsite with 3/4” stone making for a nice and clean look.

Also Installed some deck piers on one lot. And hitting a couple test pits in between.

From clearing, stumping and installing an access road around the field for stump and brush disposal.

To moving the SK150 to a house lot previously started, to excavate and back fill the waterline with clean sand. Building up the yard to achieve proper ground coverage due to ledge. As well as prepping the floor for concrete using 3/4” stone.

Also moving the SK170 to do a large yard expansion. Clearing many trees, hauling stumps off site. Cutting out behind the house making 2 levels. Diverting water away from the house. Sloping off the bank, retained with rocks from the cut. 3/4” stone pad installed graded and compacted for a future car port. Shaped up and blended all together making a nice finish.
