If you notice cracks or uneven floors in your home, getting a detailed estimate for foundation repair is essential. Start by asking about the root cause of your foundation issue, such as soil movement or drainage problems, so you can address the real problem and prevent future damage. Next, learn about the repair methods your contractor recommends, like slab piers or mud jacking, to understand how the work will be done and what to expect. Be sure to discuss the estimated timeline and receive a clear breakdown of costs for materials, labor, and any possible additional expenses. Remember, the lowest price is not always the best choice, so focus on choosing a contractor with proven experience and trusted results. Many people think only older homes need foundation repair, but any home with a foundation can face issues over time. Look out for warning signs like cracks or bulges in your walls, leaking basements, or living in a flood zone. Sinking or bowing floors and sagging door or window frames also indicate possible foundation problems. These issues can be caused by shifting soil, erosion, or poor drainage and should not be ignored. The longer you wait, the greater the risk of costly damage to your property. Protect your home by having a professional inspect your foundation at the first sign of trouble. If you have noticed any of these signs, visit our website today to schedule an inspection.

How do roof fire sprinklers work? We have an answer!

"Roof-mounted fire sprinklers are strategically installed on the exterior of your home to spray water across the roof and surrounding vegetation. When a fire breaks out nearby, the system activates, creating a protective barrier of water that significantly reduces the risk of fire damage to your home. These sprinklers are especially effective in high-risk areas, where wildfires are common during dry, windy seasons. According to Forbes, 4.5 million U.S. homes are considered to be at high risk of wildfire, making proactive measures like this essential, especially when paired with other safety upgrades such as foundation repair to improve overall structural resilience."

CXC Contracting provided me with a wonderful new drainage system that went all along the back of my house. I no longer have water pooling around my foundation which caused damage. CXC fixed that too. the best part was that they cleaned up their mess and my yard looked beautiful! Very pleasant guys. Worked hard and fast. The owner was the person who did the original inspection and was great to work with. I like working with the owner of businesses.
