Columbian High School, a valued repeat client, engaged our services to complete site improvements at its campus entrance.

Our scope of work included the comprehensive removal of existing concrete slabs extending from the main entrance to the street across all three walkways. This encompassed demolition and removal of the flagpole, associated concrete footings, and additional sub-sidewalk footers adjacent to the roadway. Following demolition, all debris and unsuitable subgrade material were properly excavated and hauled from the site.

Subsequently, we imported, placed, and compacted fresh aggregate to establish a stable and properly graded foundation in preparation for new concrete installation. Upon completion of our site preparation activities, Clouse Construction proceeded with rebar grid placement, expansion joint preparation, and final concrete pours.

The project was completed successfully, reflecting the professionalism, coordination, and dedication of our team members and drivers. We value our continued partnership and look forward to supporting future improvements at Columbian High School.

We’re proud to share the completion of another one of our excavating projects for ST Genetics Bull Farms in Tiffin.

This project included development of a new animal containment facility along with construction of a hoop building to expand manure storage capacity.

Clouse Construction handled all concrete work, including poured walls, floors, and utility installations. Our team was responsible for building pad preparation, driveways, storage lots, site drainage and mitigation, compaction testing, trucking and placement of fill and stone, as well as all bulk earthwork and finish grading.

We’re extremely pleased with how this project came together and are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Clouse Construction and ST Genetics Bull Farm.

We look forward to continuing our professional relationship on future projects.

A big thank you to our crew for their hard work and dedication — another job well done! 💪

Here is a driveway pad that we did for The Rock Solid Church Of God of Kansas Ohio. They called us and wanted an updated and functional parking pad for the people so we got right to work. We stripped off old topsoil and started building the pad, compacted the lot, touched up the edges and called it a job well done.

We recently had the opportunity to transform the old Nickels Bakery property in Fremont, Ohio for its new owner. The goal was a clean, updated look — and that meant starting from the ground up.

We removed dirt, asphalt, trees, and debris before hauling in stone and equipment to begin rebuilding the site the right way. After careful grading and compaction, we restored the loading dock ramp, repaired the drains, and installed concrete barricades to complete the project.

Another job wrapped up and another satisfied customer. We appreciate the opportunity to help bring new life to this property.

We recently had the opportunity to complete a full exterior concrete and asphalt replacement for Little Hugo’s in Tiffin, Ohio — giving their customers a smooth new runway to the ordering stand and pickup windows.

Scope of Work
✔️Removed existing concrete pavers
✔️Removed old asphalt
✔️Replaced sidewalks
✔️Cut and reconstructed the easement into the street
✔️Removed asphalt around the back and side of the building
✔️Full tear-out and site prep

From there, we:
Graded and compacted fresh stone base
Installed expansion joints
Set a post for the new sign
Formed the project for proper drainage and flow
Prepped with plastic prior to pour day.

On pour day, we teamed up with Kaminski Concrete, with Bill Kaminski and his crew bringing their expertise and strong work ethic. Combining their knowledge with our experienced crew made for a smooth, efficient pour.

Even when the weather shifted and rain tried to interrupt what was supposed to be a clear day, we adapted, worked through it, and delivered a clean, finished product.

The result?
A refreshed, updated look for the owner and a smooth, welcoming drive for customers to enjoy as they grab their favorite treats.

After wrapping it up, we celebrated the only way that makes sense at Little Hugo’s — with a frozen treat and a job well done.🍦🍦

Here is a project we did for Route 20 storage in Fremont Ohio. They wanted to put up new storage buildings and a parking lot for future outdoor storage, so we sat down and talked with them and made a game plan. We stripped back all the fill dirt and made way to start the stone pad and shot grade for where all our catch basins and tile needed to be and set for finish elevation for proper drainage to the basins. After hours of cutting basins, setting them, laying multiple sets and sizes of tile, sealing and setting risers, and backfilling each trench and basin for proper compaction we finish dressed the pad for them to come in and set the buildings. While they were busy with that we went ahead and augured holes and set steel piping with concrete for around the tower guide cables per code and backfilled with stone. Once finished with that they wanted their pond touched up so we hauled in more stone and went around and packed and graded the ponds surrounding edges for a nice clean look. After many hours of trucking material, running equipment, and hours and hours of labor we finished the building pad and parking lot, all the drainage, all the misc touch ups, steel barriers for the tower guides, touching up the pond, and stoning the rest of the lot for them the job was done and another customer satisfied. Thank you to our employees for all their hard work and management for all the paperwork!
