C-DAY --- You can’t have a C-Day until everything is completed and that is just how it is. I have now completed the full restoration of my MONARCH lathe Peal, which also means that every piece of my equipment is in superb running condition, finishing off my career with no open projects, no regrets left! LOL! Today was a real blast sharing my first chips on Pearl with each and everyone of you and thanks for hanging in there no mater how long it was going to take me to get here today.

Turn Wright Machine Works and my career coming to an end a little sooner than I had planned for. I have already deleted my web site and shut down my swag store on Dashery changed my status on my google listing. I’m scrubbing machines and putting complete machines and tooling packages together. There will be other announcements coming up soon, like open house, machinery package details, and options as they come about. My final day of my career will be 10/31/26.

More of the Same. The Daily Grind, Cab Rides --- We're really deep into that rinse-and-repeat cycle of summer operations. We run the same train set back and forth, 3 or 4 times a day, 5 days a week, with the same crew, on the same little bit of railroad. It's monotonous but generally speaking, boring is good in the railroading world - maybe not so much for YouTube content. ;)

We should have some Porter NO 5. work content next week, as long as nothing gets exciting.
