Pipe welding for oil & gas and rapidly expanding data center infrastructure presents a strong opportunity for welding automation.

DAIHEN Cobots bring welding-specific capabilities directly into the process. Integrated touch sensing helps locate the actual joint before welding, while seam tracking helps maintain torch alignment as joint conditions vary.

Our team recently spent time with the Orbital Welding Solutions and Automation Group at Red Ball Oxygen in Houston, getting hands-on with these capabilities and preparing to support more pipe welding applications.
