Role Description: The Concrete/Mason Foreman is a full-time, on-site role located in Mount Pocono, PA. This role oversees daily concrete and masonry operations, including planning work, assigning tasks, ordering materials and supervising multiple crews on commercial, residential, and municipal projects. Responsibilities include coordinating formwork and flatwork activities, managing ready-mix concrete deliveries and placements, and ensuring work meets project specifications, safety standards, and schedule requirements. The Foreman will interpret blueprints, collaborate with project managers and inspectors, track materials and equipment, and maintain accurate records of progress and site conditions. The role also involves training crew members, enforcing safety procedures, and supporting a culture of quality workmanship and accountability.
Qualifications
Concrete construction skills, including formwork and flatwork, with the ability to lead crews in layout, placement, and finishing.
Masonry construction skills for cmu and brick veneer.
Experience operating or coordinating heavy equipment use on site, with strong awareness of safety and productivity requirements.
Knowledge of ready-mix concrete, including mix types, ordering, scheduling deliveries, and proper handling and curing practices.
Carpentry skills relevant to concrete and masonry work, such as building forms, shoring, and temporary structures.
Demonstrated experience as a foreman or lead in concrete/masonry or site work construction.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and site plans.
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Commitment to jobsite safety and familiarity with OSHA and industry safety standards.
Reliable transportation and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in construction or concrete/masonry are a plus.
