Our Ann Street Park Project wrapped up last month for the Borough of Milford and its Design Engineer Barry Isett. Happy to complete our 6th or 7th park project with them over the last few years. Our Site and Masonry Crews really knocked this project out of the park with its tight constraints and the park being open to the public the entire time construction started back in September.

The Milford Community and kids will get many years of use and enjoyment from these improvements over the years. We always appreciate the opportunity work on these type of park improvement projects for the betterment of the communities they service.

This new Ground up Autozone in Stroudsburg has 2 large underground infiltration basins with 36 in and 48 in pipe surrounded with stone aggregate. The under basin soils took considerable testing and soil amendments to get it just right for proper drainage under the basin.

Another challenging site with these basin requirements and a small footprint. Pete leading our sitecrew team on this site are once again knocking it out of the park dealing with the tight site limitations and winter conditions.

Some of our scope on this project includes
Excavation Erosion Control Storm Water along with the 2 large basins Site Concrete and Pave along with the building Foundations Concrete and Masonry and in the spring all the HOP highway shoulder improvements.

New Ground up Wawa store with a developer we have been working with for over 15 years they specialize in Wawa pad sites, Summit Realty Group.

They have the faith in our abilities on a challenging sites due to our past and proven relationship developed over the years.

Challenges included substandard soils on a fill site over the years so Rapid Impact Construction technology was implemented for the building pad and Canopy areas.

Another challenge we faced and dealt with was large boulders on the site so we implemented the use of a crusher to make a usable stone product for our site, recycling at its best. Shout out to Komatsu Wilkes Barre for the crusher and all the support to make it successful.

Chris Adam and Mike from our site team getting this site off to a great start along with the crew from Hilltop on the compost sock installation.

With all the difficulties this site presents having a proven Geotechnical company to monitor construction activities is critical to a successful project. The owner has retained Earth Engineering to provide there Geotechnical services for this site. Happy to be working with them once again.

Ann Street Park Milford.
Steve O and Larry, a few of our skilled workers from our Masonry Team working on and old time look Pennsylvania Field Stone Wall for the Park Project. They have been with us a long time and we appreciate the hard work and dedication to the project. Rich and Nash from our sitework division providing the sitework portion of the project. Once complete the park will have new stonewalls, sidewalks, landscaping. The Borough will be installing new Playground Equipment with Safety Surface. We are also happy to be working with Barry Isset and Associates on another Park Project together.

The Estate at Schollhammers Farms is a brand new Subdivision with 13 residential lots that will eventually be a New Home for new families. A big thanks to RGB Homes, a premier builder in the Poconos, for the opportunity to work with them once again on another new subdivision site. It is also nice to be working with D&D Engineering on another project together as they are the Civil Design Engineer on this Project. Some of our scope includes site layout, erosion control, tree clearing, stormwater conveyance, rain garden and detention basin, bulk grading, roadway stone base and asphalt pave.
